Nashville native Phillipe Chadwick graduated from Father Ryan High School ('01) and attended Mississippi State University, earning his Bachelor of Landscape Architecture. After graduation he became a designer at Heibert and Associates, Landscape Architects, before taking a job in the City of Franklin planning department.

In 2009, he joined Cheekwood as a horticulturist, where for three years he expanded his creative talents and vision, transforming the gardens into lush scenes of texture and color and deepening his knowledge of plants and native ecosystems.

Phillipe worked for himself for almost ten years as a private designer and quickly became a go-to floral designer for brides, corporations, and party planners. His passion has always been flowers and plants. He still designs, installs, and maintains numerous high-end gardens throughout Nashville and brings that love and knowledge into every design.

In his free time, he enjoys traveling, collecting rare and unusual plants, and maintaining a large reef aquarium. He is a current host on NPT's Volunteer Gardener and has participated in the Antiques & Garden Show and a multitude of major local events and installations around Nashville. Phillipe's deep knowledge of Nashville's natural landscape and his passion for horticulture and art come together in his unexpected and elegant design style.
